Wailea Estate Coffee

Wailea Iki Farm is proud to produce Wailea Estate Coffee. Our signature product, Wailea Estate Coffee beans are 100% Hamakua Coast Coffee, sustainably grown only on the island of Hawai'i.

Our cherries are harvested by hand over a five month period. The cherries are immediately pulped and then fermented to remove the mucilaginous layer. The resulting "parchment" is dried in the warm Big Island sunshine. Finally, the beans are hulled and graded to generate the final product.

Our final product received the following rating:

Fragrance and aroma: nutty and chocolate aroma with a slight vanilla scent on break.
Taste notes: hazelnut and caramel flavors with a rounded body. Smooth, with a decent acidity and a slight vanilla flavor as it cools.
